Are you a Skilled Laborer wanting to improve your skills and learn new ones? ROI is currently seeking team oriented Laborers to join our growing team in the Hartford area! This long-term opportunity provides safety and onsite training with PPE equipment provided. Our ideal candidate should be hardworking individual who will show up on time and finish out the job to the best of their ability.
Position Requirements (May Include But Not Limited To):
- Trenching and backfill for all miscellaneous utilities
- Site demolition and preparation
- Installation of light pole bases, manholes, bedding material and concrete duct banks
- Complete storm drainage installation
- Complete waterline installation
- Complete sanitary installation
- Installation of all base material at walks, pavers and bituminous pavement
- Build, move and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, equipment and materials.
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to OSHA regulations, as well, as, company policy and procedures.
Position Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience
- OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 (or willing to obtain)
- Willing to work and travel in all weather conditions and have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work under pressure, collaborate with diverse personalities, and complete assignments according to project timelines.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, and over time if needed.
