Position Responsibilities:
- Navigate construction job site terrain and be familiar with working in the roadway.
- Direct traffic within construction site when necessary to ensure safety of work crew.
- Assist with the loading and delivery of materials.
- Demolition & debris removal; site maintenance/cleaning.
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations, as well, as, company policy and procedures.
- Provide labor support by understanding and following directions
- Assists mechanic to position, align, and fit together construction components to complete the installation of systems and work assigned in a timely and quality fashion.
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely.
- General site labor, use of hand tools such as a sledgehammer, crowbars, and other hand tools
- Use large and small equipment (Skid steers, off-road dumps, water truck for dust control etc.)
- Performing specialized tasks which will require on-site training
- Power washing outbound truck lanes
- Sifting through the debris from the conveyor belt in order to QC/QA sediment
Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred not required
- Demolition experience
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Be able to work overtime if needed
- Strong references that will support your work history
- Reliable transportation
