Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and coordinate the installation of wastewater treatment systems, including equipment setup, piping, and electrical connections, in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  2. Supervise a team of technicians during installation projects, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  3. Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks to ensure that installations meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  4. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions in a timely manner.
  5. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment systems to maximize uptime and efficiency.
  6. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and prolong the lifespan of assets.
  7. Train operators and maintenance staff on proper system operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
  8. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and performance metrics.
  9. Stay informed about emerging technologies, regulations, and best practices in wastewater treatment to continuously improve our systems and processes.
  10. Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

  1. experience in installing and operating wastewater treatment systems, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  2. Extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and instrumentation.
  3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  5. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  6. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing wastewater treatment, such as EPA guidelines and local permitting requirements.
  7. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  8. OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications required.
