Job Description

Resource Options is looking for a 3+ year Structural Engineer (Vertical) to join a supportive and growth-oriented engineering firm in Western, CT. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for building designs, consultations with existing and new clients, and developing relationships within and outside of the firm. Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering firm with the opportunity to grow.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Design new construction, additions, and renovations
  • Aid or work as the Engineer of Record (EoR)
  • Provide consultations to prospective and active clients 
  • Collaborate and support (M/E/P) divisions on fit-outs and infrastructure projects
  • Assist in a variety of projects within the retail, commercial, residential, and industrial sectors

  • B.S. in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus
  • PE or EIT certification
  • Detail and solution-oriented 
  • Respectable team player 
  • Affinity for business development 
  • Prior leadership experience a plus
  • Ability to work in partnership with others or individually
