ROI is currently partnering with a large reputable Heavy Civil Contractor in their search for a Full Time Heavy Civil Superintendent in the Greater Boston Area. The ideal candidate will have experience interacting with clients, subcontractors, and workers on site. The position will require experience working on Heavy Civil Bridge projects throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule daily activities for sub-contractors on site.
  • Ensure that safety protocols are being met on site
  • Facilitate meetings between owners, subcontractors, project managers and engineering teams
  • Create three week look schedules to ensure construction is on time
  • Work closely with town and city officials in coordinating/updating construction activities
  • Manage budgets, submittals, materials, and change orders in coordination with the project manager


  • 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent in the Heavy Civil Industry
  • Prior experience working on Bridge projects
  • Strong technical background using Microsoft Office
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Familiarity with MassDOT and NHDOT guidelines
