Job Description

At Resource Options (ROI), we understand the biggest asset of any company is its people. Have you ever thought about a career opportunity that offers an employee ownership track?  We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Leader who will bring extensive software proficiency along with a hands on/team collaboration approach to lead companywide CAD initiatives.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage CAD software licenses, installations, and updates.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of design deliverables.
  • Provide training and technical support for employees.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and vendors on CAD-related activities.
  • Evaluate and implement new CAD software tools and technologies
  • Establish templates, libraries, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality in design deliverables.
  • Effective Communication/ Team Player attitude

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, surveying, or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience with BIM software and workflows is a plus
  • At least five (5) years of experience in CAD operations, with two (2) years in a leadership role
  • Certification in CAD software
  • Strong understanding of CAD standards, best practices, and workflows
  • Familiarity with data management systems
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Problem solver, Organized and Collaborative
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
